Four wheels with teeth -two of them four meters in diameter and a few bars up the industrial part, in the form of collage, the monument to the painter Antoni Clavé made to remember the Universal Exhibition of 1888 for its centenary. The request came from Josep Antoni Acebillo that during the pre-Olympic years was factotum of the monumental commissions. The larger pieces came from an obsolete machinery port of Cadiz and bars municipal warehouses. On all these irons, unmanipulated, Clavé mounted a relief made of aluminum 4.5 meters high by 2.4 wide, and predicted that mobile off. The City Council respected the will of the artist and limited the movement time between 12 noon and 2pm. I stared, as a sculptor, "was born" in 1939, upon reaching his exile in Paris, as explained by Lluís Permanyer, and has since made over 100 works. Homage to the Exhibition 1888 opened on the day of Sant Jordi 1991.
