Scale reproduction made in 1907 at the request of members of the Board of Natural Sciences of Barcelona; Jaume Almera, Artur Bofill and Norbert Font i Sagué. It is a mammal proboscidio precursor of modern elephants. He lived during the Quaternary in different parts of Europe. This play was part of an early twentieth century idea of playing some of the large animals of the past in the Parque de la Ciutadella.
