Francesc Carreras Candi (1862 - 1937), politician League and historian, is the author of the best book ever written on the Catalan capital city of Barcelona, 1916. His daughter asked the City Council to install somewhere highlight a bust his father was the sculptor Jacinto Bustos Vasallo. Parks and Gardens insinuated it got to Santos, where there is a street dedicated to Carreras Candi, but the daughter preferred the Parque de la Ciutadella. In 1975, the bust was placed near the Parliament of Catalonia.
