The Promotion of Decorative Arts (FAD), an organization born in 1903 to encourage the industrial arts, annually awards a number of prizes, one of which is Sebastián Gasch in memory of that great journalist. The award was created soon after the tribute he paid FAD 1976 for his constant support for the performing arts. In 1991, the prize Sebastián Gasch was dominated by the Ramblas, and it was decided to remember him with a plaque embedded in the pavement of the Boulevard of the Flowers, which is a mask designed by Joan Brossa.
