It was built in 1872 by the Master of Works, Pedro Bassegoda i Mateu (1817 - 1908) and since then the neoclassical façade has remained intact. The Jardí de l'Àngel is a charming and refreshing indoor garden of 600m2 and fully open in the heart of Barcelona. This splendid place is divided into two main areas: the glassed and heated pergola where breakfast and lunch are served, and the terrace area, all decorated in wood and landscaped with all kinds of plants and palm trees.
