Occupying the premises of the historic El Regulador palace, built in 1850 and home to the Bagués-Masriera family’s centuries-old jewelry workshop, the building was completely remodeled to build a hotel on the premise in 2010. Combining Art Nouveau and Modernism and preserving the building’s original façade, the Hotel Bagués is a clear example of the classic Romantic architecture of the time.
